Ep 2: Taboo personas and our liberation with Leilani Mañulu
We all have parts of ourselves that we hide; parts we’ve been taught to believe make us unlovable. One edgy alternative to standard shadow work is to create a taboo persona that embodies these hidden aspects and to play with letting that persona be in charge sometimes.
In this conversation with Leilani Mañulu we explore the nature of a taboo persona, the impact of creating one, encountering judgements, integrating shadow parts, exploratory questions and the role of intuition in risk management.
About our salon guest:
Leilani Mañulu is a spiritual badass making sense of the unseen. She is a shaman, Earth angel, spiritual philosopher, and divine channel, guiding intuitives to reconnect with their divine gifts in service of living into their soul's purpose. She is the author of "Paradox of the Water Bearer," which recounts the story of her spiritual awakening, and the host of "The Intuitive Activist" podcast. Leilani is an interpreter of spiritual messages and amplifier of divine energy, aiming to bring more hope, joy, and balance to our human collective.
This last part is why I knew she was the perfect person to have this taboo persona conversation with. This conversation will help you understand that when we shine a light on these hidden parts, we also have the potential to bring balance to our lives, and in turn, to the collective. You’ll want to listen to the end because the taboo talk just gets juicier as we go on.
