How to find your birth chart and the 12 houses of astrology
There's a direct correlation between astrology and self-compassion.
Astrology gives us insight into the energy, experiences, and emotions we were born to navigate. This is what our soul map (i.e. birth chart) can reveal to us.
This soul map is our unique blueprint.
It lays out the ways we’re meant to experience success and challenges, find comfort, and initiate transformation.
When you know this about yourself, you can't help but feel compassion for the "mistakes" you've made and the pain you've endured.
Understanding this information doesn't need to be complicated. Of course, there's a huge gift in receiving an astrology reading from a seasoned astrologer, but it isn't required.
If you can access your birth chart, understand the basics of the house system, and use the internet, you're one step closer to knowing who you are and what you came to Earth to do.
This is the information I aim to share in this 10-minute video.
The 12 houses represent different parts of our lives (i.e. personality, money, relationships, career…).
I briefly go through each of these in the video.
As you watch, think about the zodiac sign (Aries, Taurus, Gemini…) you’re curious about. Your curiosity will most likely be triggered by a planet or celestial body such as Mercury, the Moon, or the Sun.
For example, at the time of this recording…
Mercury and the Sun were in Aries
the Libra (Full Moon) and Aries (New Moon) eclipses were just around the corner
Pluto was in Aquarius
We know that…
Mercury represents communication.
Eclipses highlight the shadows that need to be revealed to be neutralized and transformed
Pluto is the planet of destruction, renewal, and rebirth
When we know what signs these planets are in at the moment, we also know the specific part of our life that’s being affected. This is determined by the houses.
